Never look at a soul with contempt
Know, my brother, my sister...
In every creature that Allah has created,
there is a value, a secret, a light,
which only hearts filled with love and mercy perceive.
This is not seen with the eyes of the body.
It is seen with the gaze of the heart, when it is purified of pride and contempt.
He who loves for the sake of Allah,
and looks at people with compassion and hope,
will be guided to treasures hidden in the simplest of appearances.
And he who judges according to apparent fault,
without mercy or patience,
risks missing those whom Allah loves in secret.

Listen to this story reported in the authentic collections.
This prophetic education that many have forgotten...
Meditate... and let it enlighten your heart.
There was, at the time of the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam),
a man named ‘Abdallah,
known for his sincere affection towards Allah and His Messenger.
He loved the Prophet so much that he used to offer him delicious foods:
honey, butter, or other sweets,
which he would take from the merchants without paying.
When the seller demanded his due, he would go to the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
and say to him candidly:
"O Messenger of Allah, can you pay him what I offered you?"
The Prophet smiled and paid.
He did not scold him, for he knew the truth in his heart.
But this man also had a weakness:
he drank.
And he would sometimes get drunk in the streets of Medina.
He was punished several times, according to the Law.
One day, after yet another punishment, a Companion exclaimed:
"May Allah curse him! How many times must he be punished?!"
But the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) replied forcefully and gently:
"Do not curse him! For, by Allah, he loves Allah and His Messenger very much.
Do not help Satan against your brother."
(Reported by al-Bukhari and others)
------------
This is the Prophet's scale.
He saw not only guilt, but also love.
He did not shun the weak; he lifted them up with his gaze.
And he did not allow a loving soul to be humiliated,
even if it was still caught in a struggle.
And remember…
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds. »
(Surah Al-Anbiyâ’, 107)
The Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is mercy offered to all,
and whoever truly follows him has mercy in his gaze.
